The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, and the sun is shining. It's time for us to wake our bears from their long hibernation!

Come say ‘aloha’ to daily activities like aloha bingo, polynesian culture activity, and a luau event, that celebrate fun Polynesian traditions. Don’t forget your grass skirt and coconuts!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Board the sleigh, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! Meet santa, attend Cindy Bear™'s birthday party, meet Santa, and even join us for a golf cart parade and decorating party! 
8/4 - 8/12: UNDER THE SEA WEEKS
Holy Atlantis, campers! The sea cast a spell on us. All sharks, sea monsters, and mermaids will be welcome to join the fun! We're planning on a boat load of fun with a pool party, outside entertainment, foam party, and so much more!
8/25 - 8/27: CARNIVAL OF DREAMS WEEKEND
Come one, come all, to the greatest place of them all! Come participate in our carnival games, bounce on our inflatables, and celebrate Boo Boo™'s birthday!
9/1 - 9/4: HOLIDAY SHAKE UP WEEKEND
Oh no, Yogi Bear™ mixed up the calendar! Come join us to see what holiday we are celebrating this September. These theme will include outside entertainment, golf cart decorating/parade, and more!

Our North Carolina campground is the best Blue Ridge camping destination for many reasons. Tucked away at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you won't experience a camping experience like any other while at our Camp-Resort. During your stay, you're sure to enjoy gorgeous mountain views from your cabin or campsite, as well as waterfront views due to the swimming lake and rivers that are located throughout our Camp-Resort. We’re known as one of the best family campgrounds in North Carolina due to the countless activities and attractions we have to offer! If you’re looking for a North Carolina campground with a water park and pool, you’ve come to the right place. 

Our Interactive Water Playground is great for kids and features various water blasters, cannons, and slides, while our Ranger Smith™ Pool is perfect for kids and adults alike! We also have the best ziplining in North Carolina with the addition of our water zipline. Other attractions include the jumping pillow & pad, mini golf, water rentals, wibit, themed events, and more. What are your peak and non-peak season dates and does that impact what attractions are available?
Our Camp-Resort dates and availability of attractions vary throughout the season. During non-peak season, some attractions are only available during the weekends. To check availability for select attractions, visit our Things to Do pages.
 
Our seasonal dates are as follows:
Open: March 24 - November 26
Water Zone & activities available on weekends only: April 21 - June 1
Peak Season (Water Zone & activities available daily) : June 2, 2023 –
August 13, 2023 
Non-Peak Season: March 24 - April 27 & October 29 - November 26
 
*Themed events are April 1– January 1, 2023. All attractions and themed events are subject to change at any time and have limited availability outside of peak season.
