*Cabana reservations cancelled 7+ days prior to the reservation will receive a camp credit certificate for the amenity rental amount minus a $10 cancellation fee. Cabana reservations cancelled less than 7 days prior to a reservation will forfeit the full amenity reservation amount. Priced per day. Rental price is included from the time the pool opens to the time it closes for the first day listed on the reservation until the day before the check-out date. In case of inclement weather causing the Water Zone's unavailability for a total of 4 or more hours on your rental day, you can opt for a full Camp Credit or reschedule to an available date (subject to availability).
Bear Visits & Bedtime Stories
No matter the occasion, add an extra touch to your stay with a 10-15 minute Bear Visit right at your site or Bedtime Story at the Bears Den!

To book a Bear Visit or Bedtime Story, add to your reservation today or call (828) 417-0086. In the event of inclement weather, we will designate an alternative meeting location for your Bear Visit or Bedtime Story experience. Our team will contact you directly to provide the meeting point.

Bear Visits: $45/person. 
• Includes: (1) Bunch of balloons, celebration/visit sign, (1) 4" x 6" picture with a bear and souvenir photo frame, exclusive visit with a bear.
• Bear Visits are located at your site.

Bedtime Stories: $15/person.
• Includes: visit with a bear, book readings with a bear, bedtime snack.
• Bedtime Stories are located at the Bears Den!
• Bedtimes Stories can include up to 15 other campers, so it is a great place to also make new friends! Offered Fridays only in non-peak season.
Terms & Conditions
Bear Visits are SATURDAY ONLY from 3/24 - 6/1 & 8/14- 11/26. Bear visits are DAILY from 6/2 - 8/13.

Bear Visits are based on availability. Bookings must be made with at least 48 hour advance notice. Due to variations in staffing, we can not guarantee which bear will appear. Cancellations 7+ days prior to the reservation will receive a camp credit for the paid amount less a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to a reservation will forfeit the full amount paid. Payment is due upon booking. Bedtime Stories offered Fridays only in non-peak season.
Golf Cart Rental
Experience East Coast camping like never before when you rent one of our golf carts! This is a great way to access everything our Blue Ridge campground has to offer in a fun and convenient way! Have a bigger group? Our limo carts seat up to 6 people!

Our Camp-Resort spans 600+ acres of the great outdoors! We encourage everyone who is not a walking enthusiast to rent a golf cart when visiting! Book the 4, 5, or 7-Night Deal or the 4-Night Bonus and receive 20% off a golf cart rental!

Our Camp-Resort offers some of the best cabin camping in North Carolina - like our Treetop Cabins! If you're renting a Treetop Cabin, you have the option to add our Lake View or Mountain View Pavilion to your stay! You’ll love the extra space to spread out, relax, or entertain! Book today and enjoy: Full space rental - Full kitchen with tons of counter space, a sink, refrigerator/freezer, and grill (also includes: pots and pans).

What is the speed limit?
Because the Camp-Resort is full of active families with children and there is mountainous terrain, the speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast. As one of the best campgrounds in North Carolina for families, we want to make sure everyone is safe during their stay.
When can I pick up my golf cart?
Golf Carts may be picked up anytime after check in, 3pm for campsites and 4pm for cabins, and before dusk.
