Cabin Camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains

If you're a glamper and you prefer a luxurious camping experience over a traditional, rustic one, we have mountain cabin rentals in our North Carolina campground that will still give you that outdoorsy, mountain view feel but still provide the luxuries and conveniences of home. Camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains has never been easier at our North Carolina campground!

Mountain View Treetop Cabins

Enjoy a view of the South Mountain State Park game lands—from the trees! Our Mountain View Treetop Cabins sleep up to 4 and offer a full bed with twin trundle bed and twin sleeper sofa. Amenities include AC/heating, coffee maker, and an outdoor kitchenette on the lower deck with a small sink, 2-burner stovetop, and a mini refrigerator. There's also a charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire ring! Enjoy access to your own private detached bathroom, a short walk from the cabin and adjacent to the pavilion! These cabins are stocked with dish & hand soap, a kitchen towel, and toilet paper—we just remind you to bring plateware, grilling utensils, paper towel, and linens. Don’t want to pack linens? You can rent them from us, just follow the prompts during the check-out process to add those to your reservation. Treetop Cabin

Our Treetop Cabins (units 18-20) are located near the Mountain View Treetop Cabins and sleep up to 4 with a full bed, twin trundle bed, and twin sleeper sofa. Amenities include AC/heating, a coffee maker, and an outdoor kitchenette on the lower deck with a small sink, 2-burner stovetop, and a mini refrigerator. These offer beautiful views of our Blue Ridge Mountain campground. There's also a charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire ring. Enjoy access to your own private detached bathroom, a short walk from the cabin and adjacent to the pavilion!

Group Lodges

Camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains just got better. Located throughout the park are your choice of six group lodges, sleeping anywhere from 8-16 people. Tucked away near Scouts’ Table and the Arts and Crafts Pavilion is the Luckadoo Lodge. Sleeping up to 16 people, this group lodge includes 5 private bedrooms and upgraded features such as a full kitchen, living room, 2 full bathrooms, and even a shuffleboard table and fireplace! Outside, you can find a beautiful and expansive deck with a 5-person hot tub, picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill. All of these features make this one of the best places for family time in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

RV & Tent Camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains

If you're more of a traditional camper but are looking for Blue Ridge Mountain views, we have RV and tent sites that make for the perfect camping spot. Premium Pull-Thru/Back-In RV Sites

Our Premium Pull-Thru RV Sites can accommodate RVers looking for a prime view of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Nestled right into a valley, you can enjoy access to the Jumping Pads and Pillows, playgrounds, Gaga Pit, and Bark Park! Plus, these sites are only a short walk from the Water Zone. Enjoy gravel pads, 30/50 electric, water and sewer hook-ups, picnic table, fire ring, and a charcoal grill. 

Red Carpet Tent Site

Located within the woods of the Blue Ridge Mountains are our Red Carpet Tent Sites, equipped with 30-Amp electric, patio, charcoal grill, picnic table, fire ring, and water hook-up. There is easy access to swimming and fishing, plus a comfort station just a quick walk from your site!

Hiking Adventures

Not only do the Blue Ridge Mountains make for a peaceful adventure with prime views for your cabin or campsite, but there are also various activities it provides as well! Hiking is a fan favorite at our Blue Ridge Mountain campground. You can chat with our team about our three 1-mile hiking trails at the park and trails nearby! Our trails are all marked so that you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Blue Ridge Mountains right here at our North Carolina campground. Plus, you might even spot some wildlife like cranes, foxes, otters, frogs, and more!

Fun Facts About the Blue Ridge Mountains

The Blue Ridge Mountains span through eight states, including Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and West Virginia. It’s highest point is Mount Mitchell, with an elevation of 6,684 ft. These mountains are also older than the dinosaurs, having been formed over 400 million years ago! This means that you should be sure to look out for fossils as you hike through our mountain view campground.
