Lake Lure Flowering Bridge
Your first stop to Chimney Rock should be this historic site – a decommissioned traffic bridge built in 1925, now a trail surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge is a perfect place for a scenic, relaxing walk and photo opportunities.

Take a hike! No, literally! Hike your way up to Chimney Rock and learn what the city got its name for. Experience breathtaking views at many lookout points along the way. Plus, there’s always an event going on including guided tours and living classrooms that the whole family will enjoy.

Looking for a bit more adventure during your camping trip near Chimney Rock? Float down to Green River Cove Tubing for a thrilling good time with the whole family! This trek can last anywhere from 3-6 hours, so would make for a perfect day trip!
