To our valued campers,
It is our goal to offer you some much needed rest and relaxation during this trying time. Camping in the great outdoors is one of the safest activities to do right now, and we’re so glad we’re able to provide families with a place to make long-lasting memories! Here at Jellystone Park™, we are doing everything we can to provide our guests with a safe stay that is still full of fun! To help keep our guests and team members safe, we have enhanced sanitation measures that include frequent cleaning and disinfecting of areas throughout the entire Camp-Resort. To ensure our guests have the best vacation ever, we have a variety of available attractions to keep everyone entertained, while staying safe, from dawn to dusk. We, along with Yogi Bear™ & friends, look forward to welcoming you!

Before your arrival

To promote as little contact as possible during check-in, campers will receive a “It’s Time to Check-In” email the day before arrival to agree to the Terms & Conditions and make any final payments online. If you are a future arrival, you may complete these items in advance by locating the email titled, “Reservation Confirmation” and navigating to your confirmation link.
Look out for an email from our Jellystone Park™ team titled “Your Upcoming Stay Information!” In this email you will have more current information regarding your stay. You’ll get information on what fun scheduled activities are available, and other helpful information for your stay.
If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, do not come.
In addition to your regular packing list, bring hand sanitizer and other cleaning equipment, a mask (if you are not fully vaccinated), s’more ingredients, and anything else to help you have a safe and fun vacation.
Talk to your kids about social distancing. Here are some tips to aid in your conversations.
Download the Jellystone Park™ app prior to your arrival. With the app, you’ll be able to check out the most up-to-date attraction information, receive text alerts about events happening around the Camp-Resort, and more! Psst…once you’ve downloaded the app, click on the map pin to access our information!

At check-in

Upon arrival, please proceed to our Registration Station to check-in. You will receive wristbands for everyone in your group (please wear these at all times so we know who our registered campers are) and a car pass for your vehicles. Visit our Guest Dashboard for up-to-date info on hours of operation, daily activities, on-site dining, and more!
Maintain social distancing with our staff and follow guidelines as they help you to your cabin or campsite. We appreciate your patience as we help everyone through check-in as quickly and safely as possible.
If you have rented a golf cart for your stay, the staff member will assist you in picking one up.

During your stay

Though we are very excited to welcome you to our Camp-Resort to enjoy the great outdoors, we ask that you follow the below guidelines in place by the Governor of North Carolina. Please do your part to help keep everyone (you and your family, fellow campers, our beloved Bears, and our staff) safe.

Masks are not required for fully vaccinated guests. If you are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask in all buildings and when guests are within 6ft of another person who is not part of their reservation (both inside and outside).
- - Guests do not need to wear masks when at their cabins or campsites as long as only the people in their reservation are on the site.
  - Masks do not need to be worn in the pool area.
  - Masks do not need to be worn while at the sports courts or boating.
  - Masks are not required but recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated during Lazer Tag sessions and “Hey Hey” Rides.
Practice social distancing by keeping a distance of 6-feet from anyone not in your group.
Wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the Camp-Resort.
Forget something? We have supplies available for purchase at our Ranger Station such as masks, hand sanitizer, bandanas, and much more!

What you can do while here

Water Zone (water playground, swimming pool, & warming tubs)
- - Visit our Guest Dashboard for opening dates & times.
  - All entrances to the Water Zone are reopened for our 2021 season.
  - The Water Zone is closed from 1PM-1:30PM and 4PM-4:30PM daily for cleaning and sanitizing. All guests are required to leave the area during those times.
Ranger Station (store) is open. Ice cream, camping supplies, groceries, and Yogi swag are available at the store. Masks are required to enter if you are not fully vaccinated.
Registration Station (reservations office) is open.
Creekside Café is open!
Comfort Stations (bathhouses) are open.
Laundry Station is open.
Basketball, pickleball, tennis, and volleyball are open.
Gaga ball is open.
Mini golf is open. Clubs and balls are self sanitize.
Lazer Tag is open.
Giant chess at the lake is available for play.
Gem mining is open. Mining supplies can be purchased at the Ranger Station. Gem mining is self sanitized and social distancing with guests outside of your group is required.
Playgrounds are open.
Jumping pillow & pad are open.
Lake is open for recreation activities like fishing, swimming, and boating.
Linens are available for rent. Call or visit reservations for availability.
Golf carts rentals are available (with proper cleaning procedures in place after each use). Please visit or call reservations for more information.
Hot tub rentals are available (with proper cleaning procedures in place after each use). Please visit or call reservations for more information.
Treetop Pavilions are available to rent. Please visit or call reservations for more information.

HOW WE’RE ENSURING YOUR SAFETY DURING YOUR STAY

We have implemented several initiatives throughout our Camp-Resort to ensure the safety of our campers and our staff.

We have added additional signage throughout our Camp-Resort to remind everyone about social distancing, good hygiene practices, and other guidelines that are in place.
Sanitizer stations are located throughout the Camp-Resort.
Express check-out process is automatic for all guests to minimize contact.
Cash-free methods of payment are available and encouraged.
We are using disinfectant throughout the Camp-Resort when cleaning and sanitizing.
Staff have been trained on specific COVID-19 procedures based on OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Water Zone:
- - The CDC states, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can spread to people through the water used in pools, hot tubs, or water playgrounds. Proper operation and disinfection of pools, hot tubs, and water playgrounds should kill the virus that causes COVID-19.”
  - Limit close contact with people outside your home in public spaces, both in and out of the water.
  - All campers must shower prior to using the swimming pool and water amenities.
  - Social distancing must be practiced. Our staff monitor these areas to ensure campers are keeping themselves and others safe.
  - EPA approved chemicals are used and safety protocols meet or exceed industry standards.
  - Chairs, loungers, tables, and cabanas are sanitized twice a day.

Attractions
- - We’ve modified your favorite attractions to make them safe for everyone to enjoy.
  - We’re utilizing the Jellystone Park™ app to communicate event updates.
Food & Beverage
- To make sure you’re staying safe while enjoying some delicious food at our on-site dining facilities, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures. Here’s what we’re doing:
  - Single use condiments are utilized whenever possible.
  - Cleaning of high touch surfaces frequently (doors, ordering windows/counters, etc.)
  - Following all proper food handling procedures.
  - Offering cash-free methods of payment.

What can you do?

According to the CDC and the National Safety Council, and the WHO:

Wash your hands often – and thoroughly – with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content is a good secondary option
Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others in a public setting
If you are in a private setting and do not have your face cloth covering, remember to always cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing
Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes with unwashed hands
Avoid close contact with others especially those that are at a higher risk of getting very sick
Continue to keep about 6 feet between yourself and others
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces

It’s important to know, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are at higher risk from COVID‑19. A risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place, including Jellystone Park™.
